Why We Built This Site
Colorado gives the public structured access to many court and public records, but Boulder County records do not all sit behind one counter. The Boulder County Combined Court and 20th Judicial District handle state court case files, including District Court, County Court, probate, divorce, criminal, traffic, and civil matters. The Boulder County Clerk and Recorder separately handles recorded documents, marriage and civil union licenses, and certified copies of those records. The Sheriff manages jail, investigative, CAD, and booking records, while Boulder and Longmont municipal courts keep their own city ticket and ordinance files.

- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
